After a brief spell as a graphic designer, Barbara preferred illustration and painting as a career. Perfecting a unique watercolour style for rendering vernacular architecture Barbara is in demand. Barbara illustrates a regular column with the magazine Country Living and exhibits annually with the Royal Ulster Academy winning the John Ross Watercolour prize on at least three occasions.
