George was born in June 1958 and has lived all his life in Cookstown, Co Tyrone.
For approximately 20 years George has been painting in his spare time. He began with street/village scenes in Sepia. Character studies began approx 1993, and two years ago he introduced Burnt Sienna to his work. His paintings are on display in galleries throughout Ireland, and his commissioned work can be found in the UK, Europe, North America and Australia.
Through his work he attempts to evoke memories. To visualise and record what is lost and forgotten - to make a Visual Testament.
